4th September 2023, Ulaanbaatar/Mongolia - Wishes 64 / 65 / 66
In the name of Peace and Justice.
I have three wishes today, which I present to you in the name of Peace and Justice - in the hope they may be fulfilled.
My first wish for today is about
political systems. It seems that
there is an ongoing dispute about the virtues of democracies as
opposed to autocratic systems in the world. The question is:
which is the best political system to bring about Peace and
Justice to this world, an autocratic system, or a democratic
system?
My wish is that advocates of both systems and representatives of
all the various governments in the world come together and bring
forth their arguments why they think their system is the best
for the purpose of creating Paradise on Earth, and why other
systems, in their opinion, are less adapted to such purpose.
Every aspect of human life and survival, and every aspect of
nature's well-being and survival, shall be scrutinized and
weighed, one against to other, under each political reign and
political system. And then an overall evaluation and final
judgement can be made.
I can imagine that many proponents, on either side, will reject
the idea of such direct comparison on the basis of a multitude
of different aspects defining the future of mankind. They will
argue that, for them, it's all too obvious that their system is
the best, with no need to enter into any futile discussions on
the matter at all. Well, such attitude would only confirm that
the system they defend is wide open for criticism and outright
rejection.
Talking about evaluation and judgement: We remember that the
Saviour, the promised Messiah (or whatever YOU call yourself) is
coming to this world not just to bring Peace and Justice but to
first of all judge humanity.
My wish (my second wish for today) is that we should start
evaluating and judging our Politicians. They are the
top shots, so to say, of our nations and the world today. They
are the ones who decide about the future of our world. So I
think it's only appropriate that we scrutinize their doings,
evaluate and judge them according to their merits and demerits
on our common way to Paradise on Earth. Achievements for World
Peace are the yardstick - with ratings from 1 to 10, 10 points
being the best, 5 points and less meaning don't trust these
guys, they're evil, don't even think of voting for them ever
again.
Experts on peace, peace activists, acknowledged scholars in the
field of peace and justice and reconciliation shall be the judges
- ideally chosen and appointed by the UN Peace Council-to-be.
And their evaluations must be public, for everybody to see, the
world over. Then we can move forward, eventually to pass on to
judging the whole world.
Which brings me my third wish for today.
It is my wish that the UN Peace Council-to-be appoint a special
UN Peace Envoy every year, to travel the world
non-stop during nine months, and then, during the remaining
three months of his one-year tenure, to present his wish list of
what he thinks are the most important next steps to be taken to
advance the cause of Peace and Justice in the world. It must be
short list, a wish list of ten items at most, concentrating on
the most pressing issues hindering the advance of our common
effort to reach a state of World Peace.
Such are my three wishes for today, which I present to you in the name of Peace and Justice, in the hope they may
be fulfilled.
In the name of Peace and Justice, thank you!
