20th September 2023, Seoul/Korea  -  Wishes 70 / 71 / 72

In the name of Peace and Justice.

I have three wishes today, which I present to you in the name of Peace and Justice - in the hope they may be fulfilled.

My first wish for today is about border conflicts. Border conflicts can lead to war - and we don't want wars, we want peace. So, border conflicts need to be resolved, they need to be resolved, NOW!

In the Far East Region, there are many, many, many unresolved territorial disputes, here are some examples (check the country codes in Wikipedia):

1. AU/IN Ashmore and Cartier Islands
2. TH/KH Area of Ko Kut Island, part of Poipet, Prachinburi area, Preah Vihear Temple
3. TH/MM Doi Lang, parts of 3 Pagodas Pass
4. KH/VN various border ares, Phu Quoc Island, Tho Chu
5. KH/LA parts of Stung Treng Province
6. MY/SG Pedra Branca + Point 20
7. MY/IN Ambalat (oil fields)
8. MY/PH parts of Sabah
9. MY/BN Limbang District
10. KR/JP Dokdo Islands
11. KR/KP everything
12. VU/FR Mathew + Hunter Islands
13. TO/FJ Minerva Reefs
14. TK/UM Swains Island
15. MH/UM Wake Island

It's a long list, and it's probably far from complete. What's more: apart from such conflicts between nations, there are many more internal conflicts within some of these countries, notably in:

  -   Myanmar: atrocities against the Rohingyas; Kachin conflict; Karen conflict, and others

  -   Thailand: various insurgencies

  -   Philippines: Moro conflict, communal rebellions

  -   Indonesia: West Papua conflict

My wish is for the countries and the governments involved to sit together and find a speedy solution to these disputes and conflicts, NOW.

Which brings me to my second wish for today.

In my view, this whole region of Far East Asia, comprising the areas of South East Asia, Korea, Japan, all of the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand, form a community of fate in the real sense. It is my wish that all these nations get together and decide to form a political union, a Pacific Union, or the United Pacific States, with one constitution, one government, one parliament, one judicial system, one single army, and with one single currency.

"Pacific" means peace-loving. My wish - my third wish for today - is that the whole region of the Pacific Union-to-be shall become a real center of World Peace. The whole region takes its identity from the Pacific Ocean, the peace-loving ocean. So it seems to me that the most appropriate thing to do in order to underline the peace-loving character of the region,is to demilitarize the whole Pacific Ocean. No warships allowed in the whole region, only the UN Peace Army-to-be shall have the right of access to these waters.

Such are my three wishes for today, which I present to you in the name of Peace and Justice, in the hope they may be fulfilled.

In the name of Peace and Justice, thank you!
