In the name of Peace and Justice.
I have three wishes today, which I present to you in the name of Peace and Justice - in the hope they may be fulfilled.
My first wish for today is about ongoing conflicts
of all kinds in the Perso-Arabic Region. As we know all too well, conflicts
of all sorts can lead to wars, and we don't want wars, we want Peace.
There are so many border conflicts in this region, it's hard to
believe - between Lebanon/Syria, Iran/Irak, Bahrain/Qatar,
Oman/Yemen, Kuwait/Saudi Arabia, Egypt/Sudan, Morocco/Spain, and
so on, and so on. Plus so many internal conflicts, such as:

Pakistan:
terrorism in the provinces of Punjab and Sindh, including the capital
city, Karachi |

Pakistan:
insurgencies in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan |

Afghanistan:
devastating human rights situation after the end of the war |

Iran: insurgency in Sistan and Baluchestan province |

Iran: Arab
separatism in Khuzestan |
|
6. |
Iran: Kurdish
separatism |
|
7. |
Iran/Irak/Saudi Arabia: Persian Gulf crisis |
|

Irak: Islamic State insurgency |
|
9. |
Syria: civil war |
|
10. |
Israel/Palestine: open war |
|
11. |
Yemen: civil
war |
|
12. |
Egypt/Sinai:
Islamist insurgency |

The list is mind-boggling and far from complete.
In the name of Peace and Justice, I'm asking the governments
concerned to act NOW and resolve these issues NOW!
Which brings me to my second wish for today.
In my view, this whole Perso-Arabic Region, from
Afghanistan through Iran and the Middle East all the way to
the Maghreb countries and Morocco, form a community of fate in the real sense.
My wish is that all the nations within this region form a political union, the
Perso-Arabic Union - possibly with three
sup-groups, like East
(Pakistan/Afghanistan/Iran),
Center (Middle East/Arabia),
West (Maghreb/Morocco) - with one constitution, one
government, one parliament, one judicial system, one single
army, one single currency - in the name of Peace, in the
name of all the people living in this area, for the benefit
of everyone.
And in this context, my wish goes one step further - and this
now is my third wish for today -
my wish is that the adjoining international waters of
the Caspian Sea, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean
Sea (including the Suez Canal) be demilitarized completely
and become a maritime zone of Peace. No warships shall be allowed in these
waters except for the UN Peace Army-to-be.
Such are my three wishes for today, which I present to you in the name
of Peace and Justice, in the hope they may be fulfilled.
